Children & Teens Classes - September 14 - December 19, 2026
Two - 6 weeks session – Monday Toddler 3:45 - $105 each
First semester - Monday 4:15; 5:00 and 5:45 - $270
First semester - Thursday 5:30; 7:30 and Saturday 9:30 - $290
Two - 6 weeks session - Friday 5:30 Musical Theatre Dance -$130each
First semester specialty class – Pre-Pointe & Pointe tuition - $405
For all students, a one-time registration fee for each student is $30.
Registration for all classes can be made through Punchpass
Registration opens August 10, 2026
Exceptions - Families with more than one child will receive a 5% discount and students who take one or more additional classes can receive a 5% discount.

Dance Etiquette & Uniform

Leotard - Girls are to wear long or short sleeve light blue leotards, pink or flesh-tone tights, and pink ballet slippers. Please do not purchase a leotard with a skirt.
Ballet Slippers –Pink or flesh-tone leather ballet slippers with properly fitted elastic.
Hair - Children’s hair must be neat and pulled away from their faces.
Please consult your teacher for the correct color for your class schedule.

Ballet Slippers – Pink or flesh tone canvas or leather ballet slippers with properly fitted elastic.

Leotard – Teens may wear long or short sleeve black leotards, camisole or designer leotards.
Tights – Pink or flesh-toned ballet tights – preferred transition tights.
Ballet Slippers – Pink or flesh-tone canvas or leather ballet slippers with properly fitted elastic.
Pointe Shoes – Properly fitted shoes with ribbon and elastic.
Jazz class – leotard, tights or jazz pants.
Hair - must be neat and pulled away from the face. If necessary, please use a hair net for support.
Musical Theater - Leotard, tights or jazz pants, barefoot or jazz shoes.
Tap class - Leotard, tights, leggings, or jazz pants with tap shoes.

Clothing – Young male dancers may wear white T-shirt and flexible black pants with black ballet slippers.
Fitted Shirt or Leotard – A form-fitting t-shirt or a ballet-specific leotard.
Tights or Dance Pants – Black or dark-colored tights, or form-fitting dance pants.
Ballet Slippers – Black ballet slippers. Leather or canvas.

Avoid baggy clothing, as it can obscure movement and alignment.
Jewelry should be minimal for safety.
Please remove your street shoes before entering the studio.
Please no gum chewing in class.
Students are expected to arrive dressed and prepared for class. When late, students must ask the teacher for permission to enter class. It is the teacher’s decision whether a student may participate in class for the day. Students arriving late may be required to observe class.
Parents and friends are NOT allowed to observe class except with the teacher’s permission.
If a student misses a class because of illness, that class may be made up with the same teacher or another teacher, provided space is available. Make up classes must be arranged in advance.
St. Mark’s Dance Studio follows the closures of DC public schools during inclement weather. However, when necessary, the teacher may opt to offer class virtually through Zoom.
